Korach – Rebellion, but perhaps not as we thought . . .

16 Jun

Numbers 16:1 – 18:32 KORACH
1 Samuel 11:14 – 12:22
John 19:1-17

Rebellion – not against Torah, but against The Word of YHVH, the Man of YHVH.

For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against YHVH; and how much more after my death? (Deu 31:27)

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of YHVH, he hath also rejected thee from being king. (1Sa 15:23)

Understand therefore, that YHVH your God has not given you this good land to possess because of your righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people. (Deu 9:6)

And (the generation to come) might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with YHVH. (Psa 78:8)

“You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did. (Act 7:51)

Are we still there today? . . . something to ponder in these days and the days to come . . . Shabbat Shalom
