Birth Pangs and Current Events
For those that have experienced ‘birth pangs’, ( sorry guys, but that leaves us out smile emoticon ) you understand as the ‘pregnancy’ progresses and after the ‘water breaks’ the contractions begin . . . at first they are, uhmm, uncomfortable. Would that be somewhat accurate, ladies ? But then, these contractions,or birth pangs if you will, begin to increase in both frequency and intensity, until the much-anticipated ‘birthing’ takes place. We know that between each ‘contraction’ or birth pain, there is a lull, and then the next round of pains begins, more intense than the previous one with a shorter ‘lull’ in between. There comes a point when the ‘birth pangs’ become ‘scream-causing PAINS’ coming so close together the ‘lulls’ in between some almost nonexistent. That is what we are seeing, both on the global scene as well as the national stage and that is what is to come. But what is being birthed ? The Kingdom. And when did these ‘birth pangs’ begin ? Roughly two thousand years ago with the advent of Messiah Yeshua. We are now at the point in this ‘pregnancy’ that the ‘birth pangs’ are coming closer and closer together with greater intensity and shorter lulls in between. In addition, there is ‘national judgement’ ( in addition to ‘end time’ calamity) on governments and hierarchies, simply because of their stance against our Father, His Ways, His Word, His KIngdom and His Land. “And all this is the beginning of the birth pangs . . .and this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to all the world as a witness to the nations, and then the end will come . . .” ” “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people . . .” Remember that scene we attempted to describe concerning the physical birth ? Most folks, knowing a birth is imminent, prepare for the event in all the ways they can, understanding that final birth pang can come at any ( and most times the most inopportune) moment and seemingly without waring; and yet has been coming for a really long time. ‘For God is not slack, as men count slackness . . . What He has said, He will do . . . and He does not delay . . . He is on His time table, not ours.’
