So What’s The Word Say? 8-27-15 Galatians Part 4

Was our beloved and revered Apostle Paul instrumental in causing his young protege’ Timothy to ‘fall from grace’ ? If we follow the teachings attributed to Paul, and then follow that line of thought to it’s logical conclusion, the answer is ‘Yes’ . . . But . . . So join us now for the rest of this story . . . So What’s The Word Say? Part 3 of Galatians 8-20-15

What is ‘the bondwoman and the free-woman’ ? Does Paul actually teach the Law is done away with? Can he teach that concept and still qualify as an Apostle? In this 3rd installment of our discussion of Paul’s letter to the galoots in Galatia, we examine a little more closely the ‘Two Covenants’, Paul’s support and proper use of the Torah, as well as his battle against it’s misuse by those ‘who seek to be justified by the Law.’ Shalom – J&R

Elderberries . . .

We harvested our first round of Elderberries today and Rhonda made her first batch of ‘Elderberry Tincture’. She put some cloves and a couple cinnamon sticks. Now it just needs to set for about 6 weeks in a dark, cool spot. when it comes time to take it or administer it to the grandkids for the medicinal purposes for which it was made, you add honey and hot water. The hot water dissipates the alcohol and the honey makes it taste better . . . Good Job, babe.

So What’s The Word Say? 8-13-15

Law and Grace are inseparably linked in the Plan of God rather than ‘opposites’ as most of us were taught. Is Jesus really the ‘end of the law’ ? Join us this week for Part 2 of this series as we delve a little deeper into this letter to the Galatians by the Torah Scholar, Torah Teacher and Torah Keeper known as The Apostle Paul.
Shalom

‘So What’s The Word Say?’ about the Apostle Paul 8-06-15

Did Paul the Apostle actually teach against The Law? Did he really teach the people the Torah no longer applies because of the work of Messiah on the cross? Did Paul keep Torah? And if he did and taught against it, does that not make him a hypocrite and guilty of the same sin for which he confronted Peter? This week we begin a study of Paul’s letter to the congregation at Galatia and a closer look at the walk and writings of this one who would suffer much for The Kingdom. Shalom

Did ya’ ever have one of those days . . . ?

Thursday was one of those ‘It’s been a long week so far today’ kind of days . . . Rhonda’s Dad being admitted to the hospital was the major event. In addition, our walk-behind brush-cutter (an essential piece of equipment here) broke down again and is still down, our lawn-tractor/riding mower gave up the ghost for good and our main laptop has ‘gone the way of it’s fathers’ . . . Abba says in His Word He will NOT put more on His children than they can handle, except for when He does, He will give a way out. Father – we are looking for that ‘back door’ today. B’Shem Yeshua – Amen . . . Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers . . . shalom – J
