‘America 2.0’ or ‘America – a reprieve to prepare’?
It has been said by pundits and radio hosts that we are literally seeing ‘America 2.0 – the rebuilding and renewing of the Republic’; that we are seeing, if you will, a rebirthing of the nation as it was and was meant to be, as envisioned by our founders. Perhaps these hosts and hostesses are correct. Perhaps we are seeing a turnaround in this nation that many have hoped for and prayed for these past several years. Perhaps there ARE better days on the horizon, as we strain to perceive in the dim light of this new dawn, the possibility of a return to conservative Biblical values, the ‘reigning in’ of government overreach, transferring ‘the power’ and giving it back to the people, an opportunity to truly extend respect and dignity as we properly care for those that have fallen through the cracks – the poor, the widows, the orphans, the voice-less, the face-less, our veterans and their families – and allowing the God of The Bible to once again have His rightful place in our society, our government, and our daily lives.

Or perhaps, what we are seeing play out before our eyes, is ‘America – your reprieve to prepare . . .’ There are those who ‘prophesied’ Donald Trump would NOT be elected, that he would never occupy the White House. There are those who declared ‘thus saith The Lord, Hillary Clinton would be the next president rather than Trump’, and yes, even those that declared Obama to be the last president of the United States. Well, here we are, and none of those prophecies have come to pass. But in the midst of all the ‘prophecies’ and ‘declarations’ and ‘visions’ and ‘dreams’, there was one ‘Word’ that we kept hearing time and again – ‘God is going to allow a reprieve’. ‘God is giving a reprieve.’ ‘America will receive a reprieve.’ Well what is a ‘reprieve’, and IF we are going to receive a ‘reprieve’, from ‘what’ or better yet, from ‘whom’ will we be reprieved?

Well, here are some thoughts on the matter . . . According to Mr. Webster and some of the older dictionary sources, ‘reprieve’ is ‘to delay the punishment of; to give relief or deliverance to for a time.’ Some of the newer versions do add the word ‘cancellation’. So what punishment is to be delayed, or from what or from ‘who’ are we to receive relief or deliverance, for at least a time? Well, many will say ‘we received a reprieve’ when Hillary was defeated in the presidential election. Some will say the restoration of our relationship with the nation of Israel brings relief and deliverance from judgment and punishment, at least for a time. And some will say that Mr. Trump will set things straight and get us back on the right track. And we do not necessarily disagree with any of those statements.

But here is a thought to ponder. The phrase ‘for a time . . .to give relief or deliverance to, for a time’ . . . God said He would punish the nations that come against His people and divide His Land, the Land of Israel. That fact is established in The Word and will come to pass; not ‘if’ but rather ‘when’ is the correct question, for this punishment is set in stone. The Word also tells us God will not forgive, but rather will punish and render judgment for the shedding of innocent blood, an act of disobedience and rebellion that has been endorsed and enforced by our government through state-sanctioned abortions since the passing of Roe vs Wade in the 70’s. God will NOT excuse this sin. And perhaps the final straw? The mixing and confusing of the genders. Not only has this nation’s government endorsed and enforced the acceptance of homosexuality and all of it’s offshoots as ‘normal and natural’, but now our leadership has embraced ‘gender fluidity’; the concept that you are not the sex of your birth, but rather, the sex with which you identify . . . and that ‘sexual identity’ is subject to change from day to day and moment to moment. So now ‘Bruce’ is ‘Caitlyn’ and ‘Bradley is now ‘Chelsea’ and ‘evil’ is ‘good ‘and ‘good’ is intolerable and ‘true tolerance’ is acceptance of all that man (and woman) can image in their heart.

America has virtually become two distinct groups of people. And not just spiritually and religiously, but even on a secular level of basic morality, America has become a ‘mingled garment’ if you will, a mixing of that which should NOT be mingled. It is being torn and we are experiencing a rending of the fabric of this nation, the fabric of who we should be versus what, in many ways, we have become.

God sets before us blessing and cursing, good and evil, light and darkness, life and death . . . Choose Life.

So is there a reprieve? Yes . . . but only ‘for a time’ . . . and this ‘window of opportunity’ will only be open for a short time. ‘For the heart of man is wicked’ and the sin of the amorite is almost full. So work while it is day.

In this week’s time together, we discuss the account of the infamous sheet of Peter’s vision in Acts chapter 10. Hopefully, we position this in such a way to see Peter’s dream from the perspective of Cornelius’ angelic visitation and vision. Not only was Peter’s Vision NOT about what we can and cannot put on our plate, it was about ‘the message’ that rings down through the centuries from the Promise of our Father in the garden, to Moses’ promise of a ‘Prophet to come” and still rings true in our present day. I had a dream about 8 years ago that I feel I should share once again. Let me say that what I saw was so real that I struggle to put it into words. I felt like my body was actually ‘there’. Those of you who have had dreams or visions from the Father understand what I am saying. It was a very short dream ……
I found myself standing outside among trees and rolling hills. The trees were green and the grass was green between them. It was that color of green that we would normally associate with spring grass and spring leaves, although I am not saying it Spring. There were no brown leaves or dead twigs on the ground or trees, just fresh and green.
Since I felt like I was actually ‘ there’ I was turning from side to side trying to get my bearing and straining to see where I was. I kept thinking to myself, ‘where am I?’ Then, abruptly, the dream ended. It was dark ( kind of like at the end of a movie) and I heard the words “great snowstorm “, and I woke up.
Afterwards, I did share this dream with a few. But I was always thinking, ‘how could this possibly happen here?’, since our winters, at the time of the dream, where fairly mild. However, over the last 3-4 yrs, our winters and weather in general, seem to be changing. I can now see how this could happen.
I was not given a timeframe or definite location. It could be this year or 20 years down the road. But I know our Father has said a “great snowstorm ” is coming. Our Father has not given full interpretation on this as of yet, but this I do understand. Those to whom God has given dreams and visions understand these revelations can have multiple layers and meanings. With that said, this event, whatever it is and whenever it is, might very well come at a time when many will be caught off-guard and unprepared, thinking all is well and no need for concern.
So if you wonder why we have been posting articles about low sun spots, Maunder Minimum or what is called a little ice age, now you know. These things are cycles that happen on a regular basis on this earth, cycles that our Father has set in motion. I am not predicting these things will be the cause of what I saw and heard, but I am saying I can now see how it is very possible. I am presenting what the Father gave me for you to prayerfully consider. Blessings and Shalom, R

Rhonda and I have been involved first-hand in hands-on organized ministry work for the better part of over 40 years, with over 15 years of that committed to teaching, discipling and mentoring concerning the Hebraic/Biblical roots of ‘The Faith once for all delivered to the set-part people of God’. In the year 2000, God began to wean us away from our denominational setting, taking us to a place in our lives so as to have our undivided attention. As He more securely grounded us in His Scripture,  He spoke to us a very simple mandate – ‘disciple those I send in the Truth of My Word’. This was around the time all the computers were to ‘run amuck’, and although Y2K was a wake-up call rather than ‘the end’, it prompted us to consider more seriously  the concept of, not only spiritual preparation, but physical, practical preparation under God’s leadership.

Seven years ago, Rhonda began to ask the question of our Father, ‘What do we do and where do we go in light of what is coming on the earth?’ One year later Abba lead us to a 32 acre tract of land off the beaten path, that we eventually purchased with our retirement money, making the piece of land debt-free. After the purchase, some close friends brought a couple interesting facts to our attention that had evaded us during the purchase process, a process much to lengthy to detail here, but a process in which we saw Abba’s Hand time and time again.

Now there was a supposed boundary dispute on this property, and although we were aware of the dispute, there was something about it we had not seen. It was pointed out to us that, when the survey plat was properly oriented North and South, the disputed boundary (a dispute which has since be resolved) was on what would be the northwest side of the eastern boundary, or, ‘the west bank’ of the property, if you will. There was another ‘coincidence’ that we had not noticed up to this point.  When our friends properly oriented the survey plat, we immediately noticed a recognizable shape – a striking and uncanny similarity to the current day map of the Land of Israel. ‘The plat looks like Israel’, people exclaimed. There are many more confirmations we could relate if time allowed . . . angelic manifestations, words of knowledge and words of wisdom spoken over and about this parcel, a parcel that has come to be known ‘Goshen’.

And then again, our Father breathed a very simple statement into us- ‘Prepare a place for the time when a people will need a place’. So, for the past six years, Rhonda and I and a handful of others have been slowly chipping away at this rugged, undeveloped piece of land that was barely navigable on foot back then. And although many (not all) of that ‘handful’ or no longer with us for differing reasons, for Rhonda and I and the few that remain, the vision is still clear and the work goes on, slowly but surely , emphasis on the ‘slowly’(and the ‘surely’ part does wane from time to time, for the spirit is willing but, at times, the flesh is weak).  Financial support has diminished severly in the past year, although we are EXTREMELY thankful to our Father for the small handful of ‘Faithful’ that support us when they can. But the laborers are few, and although the fields are white, the skies are darkening beyond the horizon and the work must be done while there is still time to work. For the past 4 years, (and beginning our 5^th winter here) Rhonda and I have been living on site in a 34 ft camper, continuing the work and keeping the Land debt free.  And just for the record, we are both in our middle 60’s, attempting to live off our social security income and putting everything we are and have into the work here. And God gets ALL the credit and the glory. In all this, there is one thing we have come to understand. It is ironic how the seeming delay of disaster can usher in, at times, the manifestation of complacency. But God is not slack concerning what He has said He will do and what will come.

Up to this point, we have shared the work here merely by word of mouth, through and by those we felt led in which to confide. Now, here in our little valley, we find ourselves in a point of decision. And we have decided the time has come, if you will, to fish or cut bait and to proclaim a ‘whosoever will’. This past election presented a momentary window of reprieve and opportunity for the Body of Messiah, in this nation at least, in these last days. But that window will not stay open for long. The time has come to pick up the pace, to get work completed and projects finished, under the leadership of our Father, His Spirit and His Right Hand. It is time to learn, understand and manifest the concept of community . . . like-minded individuals and families that have the vision to prepare, not just for themselves, but for others, others that will need a place of safety and security in a season of insecurity and uncertainty . . . like-minded people that understand the reality of those things coming on this nation and this globe, that understand the time and season we are in and are willing to put their/our treasure where the heart and vision are. Laborers are needed, finances are needed, resources and materials are needed, intercessors are needed, and commitment is needed. Commitment . . . now there’s word that gets thrown around quite a bit. Commitment is a difficult concept to understand and explain at times. We once heard it stated this way – “If you want to understand the difference between involvement and commitment, just take a look at a plate of steak and eggs. The chicken was ‘involved’, but the steer was committed.” Did you catch the difference?

When the time comes, (and it will come) obviously not all will come here for their ‘safe place’. But for those that ARE to come here, it must be ready. This specific work here is not for everyone, but there are those that ARE to be part of this work here.  So, If the Lord would have you be a part of this work, to support it financially, sacrificially and physically, to intercede, to pray and to labor with us in this work, then we want you, your place is here and the time is NOW . . . We must all work the work He has called us to while there is day, for the night comes when no man can work. If God has called you to be a part of this work, it is time to put your hand to the plow and not look back, but rather, look up, for our redemption draweth nigh. And until then, however long that is and whatever must be endured, the time to pray and give and labor and prepare, is NOW.   May our Father bless you and yours in the days to come. More questions than answers . . .
Most are aware by now of the upcoming meeting in France of a 70 nation coalition on January 15th to discuss their version of the future of the nation of Israel. Hopefully, most understand the number ‘70’ as being a number that always has ‘global community’ implications. And again, most are probably aware of the prophecies concerning God’s judgment on the nations for ‘dividing His Land’, an event and action that must take place officially at some future point, although we realize, for all intent and purposes, the nation of Israel and city of Jerusalem IS divided already. (Joel 3:2)
The question that keeps crossing our minds concerns the ‘three frogs’ of Revelation 16. The only other reference to ‘frogs’ in Scripture is in the account of the plagues of Egypt in Exodus chapter 8, as well as a reference in the Psalms ( Psalm 78:45 & 105:30) to the events in Egypt. We understand frogs were worshiped IN ancient Egypt as ‘gods’ with supposed connections to both fertility and the underworld, which would make them ‘demonic by association’ and they are obviously unclean.
Revelation 16 speaks of three demonic, unclean spirits that appear as frogs, coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet respectively, and these demonic spirits are they which God allows to draw the leaders of the nations of the earth into the valley of Jehoshaphat for the battle. We are NOT suggesting this meeting on the 15th is for war planning or war games against Israel, but IS significant in light of other events, both world-wide and in the middle east.
So what are your thoughts? What or who are these ‘frogs’? The Apostle Paul indicates the ‘mystery (secret doctrine and/or power) of lawlessness (which would be the spirit of the lawless one) was at work in his day ( 2 Thess 2:8-ff) and the lawless one would be revealed in the proper time. Can we assume the secret doctrine and spirit that has manifested in the work of these three frogs is obviously already at work and will increasingly manifest, showing itself in things like this upcoming meeting and other events prophesied and yet to occur ?

Back in December, many of us gathered from various places in the area for a ‘Come-Together Shabbat Get-together’ in Stanford. It was an enjoyable time of fellowship and praise and worship. Many asked if we could ‘do it again’. So, how about another ‘Come-together Shabbat Get-together’ on Shabbat February 11th, at the same location as last time – The BallRoom about the BlueBird Cafe in Stanford. The meeting will begin at 1:00pm with a time of Fellowship, Worship and Praise, Discussion, Prayer and ministry, concluding with a potluck meal. We ask everyone to bring a main dish, and either a side dish or dessert and a beverage of your choice. Coffee and bottled water will be on hand. if you would like to help with the cost of the building, we thank you. if you play an instrument and would like to share with the group, please contact us by PM or text and come prepared. We might have a messianic jam session. 🙂 Doors will open at noon. We NEED to know how many are coming so, PLEASE, RSVP. Pesach – Passover and the Week of Unleavened Bread – begins the evening of Monday April 10^th through the evening of April 17^th. The 11^th is the first full day of Chag HaMatzot ( Feast of Unleavened Bread). The first and seventh day are ‘high sabbaths’, but you are allowed to cook on each of those two days specifically for those two days.

Raysheet Omer – Day of the Wave Offering – Resurrection Day – Sunday April 16^th, beginning the evening before. April 16^th is Day One of the 50 days, counting down to the Day of Pentecost ( the counting down from the Omer)

Pentecost – Shavout – Feast of Weeks – Sunday June 4^th is the 50^th Day, beginning the evening before. (also a high Sabbath)

Feast of Trumpets – Yom Teruah – The Day of The Blast – Thursday Sept.21^st, beginning the evening before. (also a high Sabbath)

Yom Kippur – Day of Atonement – from sundown Sept.29^th through sundown Sept 30^th. ( also a high Sabbath)

Sukkot – Feast of Tabernacles – 7 days, from sundown Wednesday Oct 4^th through sundown Wednesday Oct 11^th. (first full day is a high Sabbath )

Shemini Etzeret – The 8^th Assembly – the first day of ‘forever’ – from sundown Wednesday Oct 11^th through sundown Thursday Oct 12^th. (also a high Sabbath).
