All the news today seemed to be focused on Pres. Obama’s signing of an executive order allowing Illegals to remain in the states under certain circumstances, thereby circumventing the standing laws of the land . . . a serious matter to be sure . . . but nowhere in HIS Word does GOD say that HE will judge a nation because it violates it’s own statutes . . . But it does state clearly that HE will judge a nation that violates HIS statutes. That ‘violation’ took place today but barely made a blip on the news media ‘radar’ screen.
Today, Pres. Obama declared to be an advocate for the LGBT movement ( lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, Transgender ) and that he can be counted on for that advocacy as long as he is in the White House. He made that statement at a reception held for lgbt activists today in the East Room of the presidential Mansion.
The East Room . . . we hear alot about the East Room. Did you know the first concert in the East Room was given by the US Marine Band, Jan. 1 1800.
First Lady Abigail Adams hung laundry in the East Room. Meriwether Lewis ( Lewis & Clark ) used it as an office and a live alligator was housed there for a while . . .
Pres. Lincoln’s son Tad played with his pet goats in the east room . . . Union troops were bivouacked in the East Room at the beginning of the War Between the States and sadly, Pres. Abraham Lincoln laid in state in the East Room.
The East Room saw the reunion of the Rough Riders of Teddy Roosevelt and presidential children roller skating on rainy days . . . The East Room say the signing of the Civil Rights Act it was witness to the long lines of mourners at the death of John F. Kennedy.
But today was an exceptionally dark day for the East Room of the White House. Today, the East Room witnessed the leader of this nation thumbing his nose in the face of the Almighty . . . and the media barely noticed. But GOD noticed . . .
Today, the president of this nation proclaimed that he would be an advocate for homosexual rights as long as his presidency continues.
But GOD says : homosexuality is sin . . .Lev 18:22, 20:18 . . .
Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD . . .
. . . But sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34
“Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is . . .
but the people said “ we will not . . .” Jeremiah 6:16,17
Jeremiah 7:28 “So you shall say to them, ‘This nation does not obey the voice of the
LORD their God nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has vanished from their mouth.”
So what do you say . . .? I trust that you declare a resounding “NO” to anything spoken over you and over this nation that is contrary to the Word of GOD . . . spoken by anyone – especially the president.
Pray for mercy and grace for the ’10 righteous in the town’ . . .
and pray for wisdom and discernment in these days . . .
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Blessings in Yeshua –
