Bittersweet emotions ran through our minds and spirits as we closed the gate monday night on this year’s Sukkot camp site, but the fellowship, ‘the family ties’ and the work of The Spirit we experienced this week are a ‘gate’ that no man opened and no man can close.
‘Thank You’ to all for helping with everything that was needed to make the week flow and the gathering enjoyable for all. ‘Thank You’ to our guest speakers during the Camp – Dr. Al & Tarah Monzo, Craig Caudill and Scott & Jennifer Hillman – for humbly and willingly sharing their talents, giftings, anointings and callings as our Father would lead for the good of the body.
For the first time in our many years of hosting Sukkot gatherings, most of the attendees were from out of state and new to one another and yet spoke of a ‘family reunion’ atmosphere with many in the camp speaking of ‘divine appointments’ during the 8 days together.
There was such a tremendous spontaneity in the evening worship times, and on thursday, in both the morning and evening services, God moved in ways that we could not have imagined and yet in ways that we both needed and prayed for. This was a Sukkot Gathering, in many ways, unlike any we have experienced before. Thank You Abba for hearing the prayers and meeting the needs of your people, B’Shem Yeshua.
If you were with us this year and have pictures of the week together, please post them here for all to enjoy. Hope to see everyone back here next year. Shalom – J&R
