A, B or E . . . part 2

By the way – ‘A, B, or E’ stands for Assyria, Babylon or Egypt, in case you are wondering . . .

Now, let’s cut to the chase on this concept, and then we can go back and answer any questions or disagreements.  First, let’s acknowledge that there IS a physical geographic Babylon and that ‘geography’ is not the subject here. Even Jerusalem is referred to as ‘Egypt and Sodom’ ( Rev 11:8) in the last days, so apparently we are dealing with spiritual issues and not geographic ones per say. IF, ‘Babylon’ is a world-wide ‘system’, then how does that play into what is happening on the world scene currently ? Imagine for a moment that ‘everything is NOT about us, the US . . . we are NOT as important as we think we are. China, Russia and others have already begun to ‘trade’ among themselves without us and our almighty dollar . . . how dare they . . .anyway . . . we are becoming more and more dispensable all the time. But, if the current ‘world-wide system’ goes down, then truly all the merchants of the world will weep . . . ( Rev 18:11 ) So, if we see the current ‘babylonian’ system fall and take many with it, then there will be a need for a ‘saviour’ . . . enter the anti-christ . . . the psuedo-saviour, the counterfeit messiah – with a new plan and system to ‘save the day’ . . . a system that appears to solve all the problems . . . but appearances can be deceptive . . .

You see, a ‘one world government’ is not a new concept.  GOD ALMIGHTY established the first ‘one-world government’ – HIS . . . then Nimrod comes along with a counterfeit ‘one world system’ . . . and please remember that Babel and Assyria are the ‘seed’ of Nimrod . . .that’s another blog . . .

What if the ‘system’ that we currently have ( that pervades virtually everything everywhere . . . it’s even in the churches ) crumbles like the ‘tower’ and then the counterfeit messiah steps up with a new and better ‘tower’  . . . AND then the TRUE Messiah comes along and RESTORES  . . . HE puts things RIGHT by putting things back like they were in the beginning . . . the one true ‘one world government and system’ . . . the Kingdom of our God . . . Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,  10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
BUT until the TRUE system is brought into place by the TRUE Messiah, we WILL have to deal with the counterfeit . . . the ‘birth-pangs’ are NOT going to be a ‘walk in the park . . .’ Are you prepared for the things that are coming on this land and on the earth ? And I must say this . . . If you are being ‘taught’ prophetic end-time concepts from a traditional perspective, then, for you, the answer to that question is probably ‘NO’ . . .The time has come to ‘lead, follow, or get out of the way . . .’

Blessings to you and yours as we enter this ‘Biblical holiday season . . . the memorial day of Pentecost.

A, B or E . . . who are we ?

There is much discussion on all fronts concerning the global economic and political situation and how our own national ‘mess’ is connected and how all of this plays into ‘end time prophecy’ . . .  Alot of what is discussed and taught hinges on the precept that the US is ‘babylon in the last days’ . . . We are not convinced of the accuracy of that premise and here, over the next few posts ( however long that takes 🙂 ) we hope to give some thoughts for you to ponder.

Let’s begin with the statement ‘ the US is not babylon of end-time prophecy. The US is a prophetic picture of Egypt in the last days’.  Yes, we know that there is already an ‘egypt’ that exists today. This is not about ‘geographic Egypt’ . There is also a ‘geographic babylon’ .  This is part of the ‘mystery’ of babylon in the last days. IT is everywhere and nowhere  It is a ‘system’ and not just a ‘place’. ‘IT’ pervades every aspect of everthing everywhere. You cannot put your finger on any one spot and say ‘ this is babylon’ and yet anything you touch today ( even in the church . . . yes, that includes ‘messianic-ism ) is connected to ‘babylon’ and there is NO where on the planet that is NOT connected to this system. Of course, I know that there are many that will think  ‘ so . . . what does that have to do with me  . . . what’s the big deal . . . I’m gonna be raptured out’a here . . . I’m a christian, a believer . . .’  Others might be thinking  ‘ Yes, the US IS babylon . . . we need to leave here and go somewhere else . . . it will be safer somewhere else . . .

First, let us ALWAYS remember – the ONLY true shelter is in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1 . . . But  aren’t we supposed to ‘prepare’ for those things that the Word tells us are coming ? YES . . . A prudent man sees evil and hides himself, The naive proceed and pay the penalty.( Prov. 27:12)  And If you believe that ‘preparation’ displays a ‘lack of faith’, bring that up with Noah or Joseph the next time you meet them. And you could meet them both sooner than later if you are not prepared for those things that are coming on the earth and your ‘preparation’ is not squarely based under the ‘shadow of the Almighty’. So are we saying that we need to ‘prepare’ AND trust God ? . . . YES . . .for they are ‘hand and glove’ . . . ‘faith without works’ . .   Ok, back on track . . .

The US and babylon . . . Isaiah, Jeremiah and the Book of the Revelation speak of ‘coming up out of her’  . . .  well, the ‘her’ is Babylon. Who ‘went into’ Babylon ? Judah.  But if I’m not of Judah then how can that apply to me ?  And another thought . . . IF the US is babylon and we are commanded to ‘come up out of her’ , then what about the ‘believers’ in China or New Guinea, etc., etc. ? Does it not apply to them ? If the US is Babel, then the believers in Costa Rica don’t have to ‘come out’ . . . those passages ONLY apply to those of us that are in the US ?  You mean that everything is not about ‘us’ ?  Sorry, that doesn’t pass muster . . .

On the next post we will look at the ‘world system’ and the global economic disaster that is looming and explore how that could possibly show us a picture of ‘babylon’ and some enlightenment on what is coming. BTW – Egypt was never in Babel, but Babel WAS in Egypt . . . Until then -Shalom U’Vrachot ( peace & blessings )  –

” . . . behold your Mother . . .”

We talk many times about how Yeshua kept the Torah and was tempted in all ways  but without sin. One of the ways that HE walked according to the ways of our Father was in the way that he taught and portrayed honor to His mother. ” Honor your Mother and Father that your days may be long in the land . . . the only commandment with a promise . . .”   ( Exo 20:12, Eph 6:2 ) Even as He hung between heaven and earth, He portrayed honor, love and compassion for His earthly Mother.  ( John 19:26 )

As we honor our mothers this sunday we also look forward in two weeks to the celebration of The Feast of Weeks, Shavuot ( Pentecost ) . Have you ever considered that, as Fathers, we get our ‘fathering attributes’ from our heavenly Father, and Mothers receive their ‘mothering instincts’ from our heavenly Father as well. But I find it interesting that not only is Ruach ( Holy Spirit )  a separate yet inseparable part of the ‘God-head’, the hebrew word for Spirit – ruach – is a feminine-gendered word.

Yeshua told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the ‘promise of the Father ‘ ; until they were endued with power from above. I always thought that the Messiah was the ‘promise of the Father ?  But Peter gives us some insight with his statement in Acts chapter 2. “This is what was spoken by the Prophet Joel . . .”  And that which was spoken was a ‘promise from the Father’ . . . We find that the promise is two-fold. And the time period from the fulfillment of one ( Passover ) to the giving of the other ( Pentecost ) is 50 days . . . 50 . . . Jubilee . . . the period of Restoration and the picture of Renewal. Three thousand died at Sinai because of disobedience and idolatry ( Spiritual Adultery . . . there’s that word ‘spirit’ again ) Three thousand were added to the Kingdom in Acts chapter 2 at Pentecost. This is a picture of judgement for sin yet ultimate grace that brings about ‘restoration’ . . .

As we honor our Mothers, we not only walk in obedience to our Father’s instructions, but we actually honor the Father that gave our mothers to us by obeying His instructions.

” Honor your Father and your Mother, that your days may long in the land . . .” ”  . . .the only commandment with a promise . . .”      Chag Sameach . . . Happy Mother’s Day . . . Shalom

Those ‘pea-pickin’ grain pluckers . . .

Matthew 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath through the grainfields, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat.

Matthew 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, “Behold, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath.”

 Matthew 12:3 But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did, when he became hungry, he and his companions;

Matthew 12:4 how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but for the priests only . . .

Matthew 12:5 “Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath, and are innocent?

Matthew 12:7 “But if you had known what this means,

‘I desire compassion, and not  sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.

Matthew 12:8 “For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

Two laws are being referenced here…man’s law and God’s Law . . .They had elevated man’s law above God’s Law and, today, in mainstream denominational settings, most are ignorant of God’s Law so we establish and adhere to our own  system. . . The Scripture says – For all Israel does what is ‘right’ in their own eyes’ . . .and we continue to this very day.

In Matt 12:7 Yeshua sends them to read Hosea 6:6 . . .

Why did He send the inhabitants of the Southern Kingdom  to read a prophecy that was given to the northern kingdom ? Because Judah was ‘disobeying’  in the same manner that caused Ephraim ( the nothern kingdom) to be sent into dispersion . . . the same for Adam when he was put out of the garden . . . and Judah was on the fast-track to being put out of the land ( 70 AD ) , just as had happened to the northern kingdom.

Matthew 23:23 a“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and 1cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.

Notice, at no time does Yeshua tell them not to keep the Law ( Torah ) or that it no longer applies.         ( Matt 5: 17-20 )

Instead, He admonishes them to keep God’s Law ( Torah ), instead of man’s law, showing that mercy / compassion is the underlying foundation of Torah . . .

( Love your neighbor as yourself  – Lev 19:18 )

Man’s law says that picking fruit off the tree ( or from the grainfield ) on Sabbath is forbidden. . .

But God’s Law says that ‘If you are going through the field and are hungry, pick and eat                          ( mercy/compassion – the weighter part of the Law )  .

Man’s law says it is forbidden for a jew to enter the house of a gentile.

God’s Law says that Israel shall be a light to bring the nations in and that God’s House will be a house of prayer for all peoples . . .

The pharisees stated that He was breaking the ‘law’, but according to Deut 23:25 He was not.  He was actually following what the Word ( Law – Torah ) states .

They, the Pharisees, were the ones ‘breaking’ the Law by ‘adding to . . .’ ( Deut 12:32 ) and not extending mercy and not allowing mercy to be extended, thus putting heavy burdens on the people . . . burdens that were never part of God’s instructions. Of course the religious system of today is on the other end of that verse . . . not only do we ‘add to’ but we are experts at the ‘taking from’ part. . .

Paul, in Romans, says that because they did not comprehend the ‘ways’ of God and the purpose for those ‘ways’, they proceeded to establish their own Laws.  Shamefully, the religious system of today is woefully ignorant of God’s instructions and so we established our own set of instructions . . .not good.  The ‘religious hierarchy’ of  Yeshua’s  day  did the same and ‘we’ have not learned a thing from their mistakes . . .

As a rule, in the mainstream denominational setting,  it is said that the ‘Law’ is all about ‘works’, but interestingly enough the Apostle Paul tells us that the Law is spiritual . . . hmmm.

And when we get to the point that we think we have learned something and perhaps have ‘arrived’ , just remember, we are dependent on the Root and not the other way around . . .

 . . .hope you and yours have a great week. . .Shalom  – J & R

Meanwhile, Back at the Well . . .

Here’s an additional thought or two concerning ‘The Woman at the Well’. “Samaria” or Shomron  ( Hebrew) means ‘ watch mountain‘ and comes from the word ‘shamar’ which means to ‘keep, guard, to keep watch or to watch for’ . . . {By the way, this is the same word used by God in the garden when He told Adam to ‘keep’ ( shamar) the garden . . .}

The spiritual implication is the ‘samaritan woman’ ( john 4 ) was drinking water from the well of her father Jacob and was waiting – watching– for Messiah to come ( John 4:12,25)

Hosea 6:3 says  “ . . .let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him, and surely as the sun rises He will appear, He will come to us like the winter rains and the like the spring rains that water the earth. . . .”

Yeshua in John 4:6 sat down ( appeared ) at the 6th hour by Jacob’s Well to offer her the ‘living water’ she had been watching for ( John 4:10,12) . . .

I find it interesting that He reveals Himself to the samaritan woman (Northern kingdom) at the 6th hour, He was declared “king of the Jews” ( the southern kingdom ) by Pilate in the 6th hour ( John 19:14) and Peter’s vision in Acts chapter 10 concerning the coming in of the nations also took place in the 6th hour.

But I’m sure that’s all just a coincidence . . . 🙂

And, we have in Acts 15:14-21 another example of the type and shadow in 2 Kings 17:27-28 of the nations coming into the land or ‘kingdom’ and having the need to be instructed in the ways of the Lord.

Funny how all of this just seems to go together . . .you might almost think it was intentional . . . 🙂 Blessings – Rhonda

A Sad Passing . . .

Netanyahu’s father, Benzion, dies at age 102

By JPOST.COM STAFF

04/30/2012 08:47

Benzion Netanyahu, father of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, died early Monday morning at the age of 102.

The senior Netanyahu was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1910, and was a historian and a professor emeritus of Judaic Studies at Cornell University from 1971 to 1975. He married Tzila Segal in 1944, and remained married until her death in 2000.

Benzion was father to three sons with Segal: Yonatan Netanyahu, a Sayeret Matkal commander who was the sole Israeli casualty during the successful operation to free hundreds of hostages in Entebbe, Uganda who were taken aboard a hijacked airplane, Iddo Netanyahu, a radiologist and writer, and Binyamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel.

“Professor Netanyahu was an important scholar, both profound and original,” Education Minister Gideon Sa’ar said of the late Netanyahu. “His wide research on the [Spanish] Marranos and the Inquisition period was revolutionary, and has important historical value.”

Labor Party leader Shelly Yacimovich sent her condolences to the prime minister, writing that “we all have only one father. And in your case, we are talking about a unique man, distinguished historian, an ideologue and an intellectual who left a deep imprint on Israeli society.

Benzion served as the executive director of the New Zionist Organization of America during the 40s, making him a prominent Revisionist Zionist activist in the United States.

He became the chief editor of the Encyclopedia Hebraica during his stay in Israel.

He was also editor of the group’s biweekly US publication, Zionnews, where he authored editorials that typically dealt with the latest Palestine-related political developments and controversies.

In one editorial that Benzion wrote, on the occasion of the springtime Passover holiday, Benzion contemplated how the suffering of the Jews could never separate them from their faith or extinguish their hopes: “Through oceans of blood, our blood, through oceans of tears, our tears, hated, persecuted, beaten, wandering and homeless, we assemble at the Pessah Seder to thank God for our liberation from Egypt, and to express once again the hope of the Haggada: ‘This year we are still slaves – next year we shall be free men.’”

In 1952, the Netanyahu family moved to its home at 4 Haportzim Street in Jerusalem, where he passed away early Monday morning.

Thanks to the Jerusalem Post US, Reuters and Lahav Harkov for this report.

Here we go a’ pondering . . .

This past week we received a phone call from a friend that, during a conversation,  was confronted with a seeming ‘contradiction’ in the Word. We talked about it for awhile, but afterwards, it made me think. It seems sometimes that the ‘naysayers’ are ‘better armed’ with all sorts of ‘bible facts’  that ‘prove’ contradiction within the Bible. And although we do not believe that any contradiction exists in the Scriptures, we are caught unaware by these passages, and automatically feel a need to ‘defend the Word ‘, without any idea how we’re gonna do it . . . 🙂 Ever been there ? We have . . . But we have come to the point that we work from this basic premise – there is NO contradiction in the Word . . . so when ‘contradiction’ rears it’s ugly head, we must remember there is always that ‘other piece’ that puts the whole puzzle together .

Case in point . . .Genesis 5:24  says   ” . . .And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him . . .”   Also, 2 Kings 2:11  tells us that  ” Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.  But John 3:13 says that “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.  So, what’s up with that ?

Well, first of all, there is NO contradiction in the Word. So, with that in mind, let’s see what we can uncover. We have found that with a little study and some context the confusion just seems to go away. We know from Scripture that others have ascended into ‘the heavens’. We also know that there is not contradiction. So let’s take a closer look at the text to see if anything is ‘gettin’ lost in the translation’  ?  And by the way, you do not have to be a language scholar to take a look at the translations. Something as simple as some online free bible study software can be a big help.

Here are the words or phrases in the Greek text of John 3:13:  and, no one, go up, into, the heaven, if only, not, lest, the, out from, the, heaven, to go down, the, son, the , of , man . . .

So, knowing what we know of and about Scripture, what can we do with these words / phrases that fits with the rest of the Word ? Well, we know that the Lamb of God was slain before the foundation of world was laid . . . (Rev 13:8 )   We know that Yeshua was ‘before Abraham” . . .( John 8:58 )  And Yeshua is the Word that was in the beginning . . .( John 1:1-14)  So, if we know that others have ascended, and we know that Yeshua ascended and descended more than just in the Gospel accounts, then perhaps we can put the words / phrases together in this manner without doing any harm to the text or to the truth and fiber of the Word . . . ‘and no one goes up into the heaven, not except or lest out of the heaven one come down, the son of man . . .’  hmmm . . . that seems to line up with the Word, the words, The Living Word and the truth of the Word . . . If it had not be designed from before the beginning for HIM to ‘come down’, then there would NOT be the opportunity for anyone to ‘go up’ . . . Jesus said “No one comes to the Father except through Me ( John 4:16)  He is the Door so that you may come in . . . ( John 10:1-10 ) . . . just a thought to ponder . . . if you’re into ‘pondering’ . . . 🙂 Blessings –  J & R

THE WOMAN AT THE WELL

The 1st week of April I received some insight from the Father, concerning John 4 and how it is inexplicably linked to 2 Kings 17. On Wed. April 11, 2012,  I was awakened from a dream/vision and given the directive to write this down and get it out. So this is my attempt to put down what I have received so far. I am sure this is ongoing and those reading this may have verses quickened to them also, concerning this. That is my prayer….that the Father will continue giving and we will continue receiving revelation on who we are. May He give us ears to hear and eyes to see, especially in these last of days.   If you aren’t familiar with or haven’t read 2 Kings 17: 24-41 in a while, this would be a good time to read it.     In Messiah, Rhonda

A Prophetic Look at the Woman at the Well

These are the things that Yeshua (Jesus) wanted us to see as we look at the entire account ofJohn 4: 4-43 concerning the Samaritan woman and her being brought into the Kingdom. The key words or phrases are:  Samaritan woman….Jacob……Joseph…..5 husbands……2 days……Jacobs well……He HAD to go through Samaria.

We will be looking at how these words and phrases relate to the gentiles/nations as they are brought in to the kingdom. We will be looking primarily at  John 4 ,  2 Kings 17 ,  and Hosea, along with a few others.

How does John 4 and 2 Kings 17 relate to the gentiles or nations being brought in ?

First, we have to go back to the blessings given to the grandsons of Jacob. In Romans 11:25 Paul states : “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.There are only 2 places in Scripture this phrase is to be found ( something we learned from a teaching by Bill Cloud several years back ) .  When you take this phrase, ‘fullness of the Gentiles’, back to the Hebrew, it is found only one other place in Scripture and that is Gen. 48:19 when Jacob places his hand on Ephraim’s head and says (in Hebrew)  “melo ha-goyim”, which means ‘fullness or the filling up or fulfillment of the gentiles’.

Where in Scripture is there a type, picture, or shadow of this portrayed ?  In 2 Kings 17:24 we see the gentiles or nations being brought into the land or kingdom ( or ‘house’ if you will ). The previous verses in this chapter deal with the sins of Ephraim ( the northern Kingdom )  and why they were getting ready to be removed from the Lord’s presence (v.18) and the fact in verse 21 about the whole house of Israel being divided into two kingdoms. The two kingdoms were known as the Southern Kingdom ( also called Judah ) and the Northern Kingdom ( also known as Ephraim or Israel ). On occasion the whole combined house of Judah and Ephraim together would be called Israel. To read about the division of Israel into the Northern Kingdom and Southern Kingdom read 1 Kings11: 26-40 and 1 Kings 12: 21-24 where the Father states this division is His doing.

In verse 24 of 2 Kings 17 we see 5 nations being brought into Samaria which was the capital of the Northern Kingdom (Ephraim). This correlates with the 5 husbands of the Samaritan woman ( John 4:18).

The Samaritan woman in John 4 represents the Northern Kingdom or the Melo Ha-goyim.   [Side note: According to some historical sources concerning the overthrow of the Northern Kingdom, it was stated that  ‘ . . . the Assyrians took part of Ephraim out of the land to Assyria and left part in the land . . .’   They would bring people in from other nations they had conquered to replace the ones taken and to intermarry with those that were left in the land thus trying to destroy any remaining nationalism that may have remained].  This is also prophesied about in Hosea 7:8 ( Ephraim mixes with the nations)  8:8 ( Israel is swallowed up in the nations)  9: 17 (God has rejected them because they have not obeyed him, they will be wanderers among the nations) Hosea was the last prophet sent to the Northern Kingdom before she was cast from His presence (2 Kings 17:18).

So, as we can see through these verses that the type or shadow of the Melo Ha-goyim  (Romans 11:25 and Gen. 48:19) can be found in 2 Kings 17 and actually started with part of Ephraim being taken out to Assyria and mixing with the nations there and the part left in the land had the nations brought in and mixed with them. So we see the blessing that was pronounced over Jacob’s grandson, Ephraim, taking place (the fullness of the gentiles shall be found in or through you)…Melo Ha-goyim.

Paul states in Eph.2:11-19 concerning the gentiles coming in…..”Therefore, remember that formerly you who are gentiles by birth….remember at that time you were separate from Messiah, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of promise , without hope and without God in the world. But now in Messiah you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Messiah. Therefore, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.

The Samaritan woman had 5 husbands and the one she had now was not her husband or in other words, she was not married to or committed to Him. According to verse 25 in John 4 she knew that Messiah was coming but did not know Him ( so was not committed or married yet, if you will). But in verse 26 Messiah reveals Himself to her –  the Samaritan woman ( the Northern Kingdom, Ephraim) and began the fulfillment of the promise made  in Hosea 1:10…..”In the place it was said to them (Northern Kingdom) you are not my people they will be called sons of the living God “.  This is why Yeshua said in John 4:4 that He  HAD to go through Samaria.

In John 4:40&43 Yeshua stayed with the Samaritan woman and the rest of the Samaritans for 2 days represented in Hosea as the adulterous wife and her children  Lo-Ruhamah (not loved or I will no longer show love to the house of Israel)  and Lo-Ammi (you are not my people). Also the 5 nations that came in to the land ( 2 kings 17) continued in their idolatry (spiritual adultery) as did Ephraim….2 Kings 17: 33-41

Yeshua came to the “Samaritan woman” at the well ( which at this point also included the gentiles or melo ha-goyim) to start the fulfillment of the reviving process He promised in Hosea 6:1&2…..”Come let us return to the LORD, He has torn us to pieces but He will heal us, He has injured us but He will bind up our wounds.  After 2 days He will revive us, on the third day He will restore us that we may live in His presence.”

After 2 days……” One day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day (2 Peter 3:8). In the 2nd chapter of Acts, Peter states that the last days had begun. He has been reviving us (Ephraim) the last 2 days (or 2000 yrs.) and we are getting ready to go into the 3rd day so that the rest of the verse might be fulfilled….”on the 3rd day He will restore us so that we may live in HIS presence.

John 11: 51-54….Caiaphas, who was high priest, spoke up, “You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish”. He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Yeshua would die for the nation, and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one”.

In James 1:1 he addresses his letter to “the twelve tribes scattered among the nations.”

 Here is the summation……

Samaritan woman represents….Northern Kingdom, Ephraim, ‘melo ha-goyim’ and all that it entails . . .

Samaritan people represent the woman’s children…..Lo-Ammi and Lo-Ruhamah

Jacob, Joseph, Jacobs well…. brings to mind the blessing given by Jacob to Joseph’s son, Ephraim…..”In you shall be the fullness of the gentiles….(melo ha-goyim)

The well was located in the Northern Kingdom (Ephraim).

5 husbands….. represents the 5 gentile nations brought in to mix with Ephraim (2Kings 17)

2 days …..represents the start of the prophecy given to Ephraim in Hosea 6:2

Yeshua HAD to go through Samaria……Yeshua himself had to be the one to deliver and fulfill what had been written and promised in Hosea 1 :10….”In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people, ‘ they will be called sons of the living God”. He went back to the place where it all took place.

This is a process that began then and continues until the restoral of the 3rd day …..

The prophet Ezekiel was told by YHVH to lay on his left sideto symbolically prophesy the judgment that was to come upon the Northern Kingdom [ The 10 Northern Tribes of the House of Israel; collectively, known as Ephraim].  He was to lay on his left side for 390 days, which would represent 390 years of judgment to be executed upon the House of Israel – Ephraim.  He was also instructed to lie on his right side for 40 days (1 day for each year) which would depict the judgement  prophesied upon the Southern Kingdom . . . the House of Judah.

(Ezekiel 4:1-6)

Unlike the House of Judah,  Ephraim ( the 10 Tribes of the Northern Kingdom) did not repent and return to YHVH and to His Torah at the end of their judgment period.  Therefore, according to the principle laid out in Leviticus 26, their punishment [ exile and loss of identity… Hosea 8:8; Amos 9:9; Micah 5:8]was multiplied by 7 times. (Leviticus 26:18, 21, 24, 28).

  390 years x 7 = 2730 years

The captivity of the Northern Kingdom by the Assyrians culminated with the final conquest of Samaria in 722-721 B.C.  So when would the judgment (based upon Leviticus 26) upon the House of Israel/ Ephraim [ exile and loss of identity…Isaiah 10:21-22] be over?

 The Answer ?

2730 – 722 B.C. = 2008 A.D.

OR

2730 – 721 B.C. = 2009 A.D.

We are not setting dates . . .

We just find this interesting . . .

For YHVH promised the House of Israel/Ephraim the following:

“And I shall sow her for Myself in the earth, and I shall have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion.  And I shall say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people,’ while they say, ‘You are my GOD!’” (Hosea 2:23)

Prepare . . .

April 20, 2012- As I was waking up this morning I heard the Lord say…….”The scroll is unrolling”. As of right now I am not sure of the full meaning but suspect that it has to do in part with what He has given me to write down and get out to the people as well as those things that are getting ready to come upon us….. Blessings and the Shalom of Messiah to all, Rhonda

What’s that Name again . . . ?

I just finished scanning a lengthy article about the ‘proper use and pronunciation of the proper name of GOD’, which also describes all the improper names and usages as well. . . and this was not from a messianic / hebrew roots /  restoration perspective but rather from a published teacher in mainline denominational circles . . . seems that this discussion is going on everywhere.

Well, here’s our ‘two-cents’ worth . . . if you want change back, let me know. 🙂

Allow me to start out by telling you a story. Almost 40 years ago my Dad was killed in an accident. I was 19 and the oldest of three. The funeral was held at our little country baptist church. The building was packed. There were even folks standing outside. There were family and friends, co-workers, neighbors, over 300 people at this little church building . . . and everyone there knew my Dad’s name.

Some called him ‘Cecil’, some Mr. Tomlinson, and others ‘Cecil T.’.  Some called him brother, some called him uncle or cousin . . . and one called him ‘husband’.  . . but they all knew his name. But out of all the people that were there, there were only three people in the whole crowd that had the right, the privilege and the honor to call him ‘DAD’ . . .  my sister, my brother and me . . .Everyone there knew his name. Some had known him longer than I and still others actually knew more about him . . . but they couldn’t call him DAD . . .

Now think about this for a moment –  the demons and devils in hell know the exact name of our Heavenly Father. They know it, how to spell it, and how to pronounce it.  They actually, in some ways, know our Father better than we do. They were with HIM in the beginning and have seen HIM on a ‘bad day’ if you get my drift. But it does them no good. They cannot call Him ABBA . . .

At one time, oh say a couple thousand years ago, there were those that knew exactly how to pronounce the ‘memorial Name of GOD’. They are no longer with us. There are those today that have background in and training in the language, history and culture of Israel. The ones that are completely candid about the ‘Name’ will tell you that there are many possibilites and no ‘absolutes’ in relation to the pronunciation. So what are we to do ?  Well, going to the WORD is always a good option.  So what does the WORD tell us concerning this matter ?

Exodus 3:15 and Psalm 135:13 tells us that ‘YHVH’ is HIS memorial Name ( pray, and pick a pronunciation . . . ) . What else can we find in the WORD that might give direction in this matter ?  1 Peter 2:21 speaks of Yeshua being an example for us . . . and this implication is all through Scripture.  So, if Yeshua ( Jesus ) is our example, then how did HE pronounce ‘The Name’ ? He didn’t, as far as we know. What He DID articulate was the following : Father, our Father, thy Father, My Father , your Father, the Father, Father . . . are ya’ kinda beginning to see a pattern here ?

The devils in hell know His Name . . . but only those that are connected to HIM by Blood can call HIM Father. I can call HIM ‘ABBA’  because we are ‘blood-kin’, for I am related to the Father through the Blood of the Son .

And remember the ‘NAME of the Father’ is more than just we we call him. But that too, is another story.

Shalom U’Vrachot – Peace & Blessings –
