Here is an addendum to “The Woman At the Well”……Blessings and Shalom to all, Rhonda and Jerry

THE OIL AND THE WINE and TWO DONKEYS

Revelation 6:6 and Hosea 2:14-23 are inexplicably linked . Rev. 6:6 commands… ‘not to harm the oil and the wine’.  Why ?…. it is a Promise in Hosea 2:21-22 that the Lord will give back the vineyards and  they will be restored.
Hosea 2:14-15 states that HE is going to ‘woo us and take us into the wilderness (desert ) and speak tenderly to us and there give us back our vineyards. And when does this happen ? In the time of ‘Jacob’s Trouble’ or what we call the ‘tribulation’, as stated in the remainder of verse 15 – “ . . . and will make the valley of Achor ( tribulation ) a door of hope . . . and she will sing as in the days of her youth, as in the days she came out of Egypt . . .” , a reference to the first Exodus.   This takes place during the tribulation – the time of Jacob’s trouble –  which is taking place towards the end of the ‘2nd day’ of Hosea 6:2.  At the ending of this ‘2nd day’ the Lord says “don’t harm the oil and the wine” . At the beginning of the 3rd day (millennial kingdom) “HE will raise us up” and HE will restore the grain, the oil and the wine (Hosea 2:21-23) and “we will live in HIS sight”.
Hosea 3:5 tell us the ‘Israelites’ ( the northern kingdom – Ephraim ) will come trembling to the LORD and to His blessings in the last days. Yeshua said “ I am sent only for the lost sheep of the House of Israel.”  Ephesians 2:11-13 clarifies that those who were formerly of the ‘nations’ have been brought near by the Blood of Messiah and are no longer foreigners and strangers but fellow citizens with God’s people. So whether we have the blood of one of the 12 Tribes running through our veins, or are simply ‘gentile’, we have been made part of the Household of God – The Whole House of Israel . . . ‘I am sent only for the  . . . House of Israel . . .’ and we are expected to keep HIS ways , just like the picture we see, and is laid down, in 2 Kings 17 . The five pagan nations listed here, coming into the Land or the ‘kingdom’ if you will, were expected to keep the Father’s commandments, even though they were  a ‘wild branch’ being put into or grafted into the ‘kingdom’ which was a shadow of what was to come ( Romans 11:17, Acts 15:13-21) .
Therefore, through and because of the ‘blood of Messiah’, those of the nations that believe are brought into the House of Israel ( Eph. 2: 11-13 ) and they ( we ) come in as part of the ‘re-gathering’ of Ephraim ( along with Judah – Ezekiel 37 )
What do we mean by ‘re-gathering’ ? Here’s a picture that we’ve not seen before. There are two donkeys in Matthew 21:1-5 and Zech 9:9. Yes, two donkeys ! (A side note here: this revelation was given to my husband (Jerry) several years back by the Ruach or Holy Spirit.)
On the day that tradition has come to call ‘palm sunday’, Yeshua ( Jesus ) comes riding into town with two donkeys – an older male and a younger male . . . the wording is quite clear in the Hebrew in Zechariah 9:9.  So, what’s that mean ?
Judah is the older brother and Ephraim ( the house of Joseph ) is the younger. We see the same symbolism in the account of the ‘prodigal son’. The ‘prodigal’ is the younger brother and Judah is the older.
So back to the two donkeys. I picture Yeshua riding the older one and leading the younger. That would line up with the Biblical tenet that Judah always goes first and leads  ( Numbers 2:9, Judges 20:18 ).
The Prophets Jeremiah ( chp. 2 ) & Hosea ( chp. 8 )  speak of the people of God as donkeys . . . and it is not a compliment. Deuteronomy 9:6 and Acts 7:51 ( and other passages ) tell us that Israel is a stiff-necked people. That includes me and you as well.
Exodus 13:13 and 34:20, seemingly out of context, speak of ‘redeeming donkeys’ in the same passage with ‘redeeming the first born of your sons . . . so what’s up with that ?
There is a play on words here that we miss without a closer look.
The word ‘ARAPH’ – to break or ‘slope’ the ‘NECK’ ( OREPH ) is a picture of our unwillingness to humble ourselves due to our basic sinful nature . . . pride.
Therefore we must be ‘redeemed by a LAMB’. And if there is no redemption, then we ultimately die.
But, when we willingly accept the work of Messiah on the cross ( the redemptive LAMB of our FATHER ) we willingly humble ourselves before HIM ( we ‘slope the neck’ and bow the head and heart ) and we need not fear the second death ( Rev 2:11, 20:6 ) .
So what do we have in this ‘triumphal entry into Jerusalem’, understanding that Yeshua does nothing without meaning ? We have a picture of the beginning of the fulfillment of the restoration of the Whole House of Israel with Messiah – the Passover Lamb, the Shelem, the peace offering making reconciliation – leading the way and bringing His people back home.
“ . . .For I am sent only for the lost sheep of the House of Israel . . .” Matthew 15:24

Yom Teruah – The Day of the Blast

The evening of Monday Sept 17 marks the beginning of Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets.  We will gather together ( the ‘called assembly’ ) that monday evening @ 7:00 pm  for a time of fellowship, Scripture reading and discussion, snacks and of course, the ‘blowing’ . . .understanding and reiterating that the ‘blowing of the trumpet’ is to call the assembly, to awaken the people, to sound the warning and to make an announcement . . .

What ‘announcement’ ?  Could it be that this marks the beginning of the ‘season of our Joy’ ?

Joy ?   The ‘Joy” that comes with the return of the Promised Messiah.

Each year is a ‘rehearsal’ of the ‘final act’ of His imminent return.

And where there is ‘rehearsal’ , there is an ‘opening night’, the culmination of all the rehearsals.

The Feast of Trumpets is the ‘raising of the curtain’ for the playing-out of the final act.

Thursday evening Sept 27 concludes the Day of Atonement – Yom Kippur . . we will meet that evening at 7:00 pm to break the fast together as a family in the presence of Abba . . . more details later . .   Blessings

UPCOMING HOLIDAYS . . .

Feast of Trumpets ( Yom Teruah, or ‘Rosh HaShanah’ as it is called on the Jewish calendar ) will be Sept. 18 and begins the evening before. More accurately – Yom Teruah or the Day of the Blast – marks many things, not the least of which is the beginning of the season of the fall feasts of the LORD and also marks the beginning of the season of the return of Messiah. We will call an assembly on the evening of the 17th for the celebration of this holiday. ( Lev 23:23-25, Num 29:1-6)

September 26th ( also beginning the evening before ) is Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. The Scriptures imply a fast on this day ( the 10th day of the 7th month . . .Lev 23:26-32; Num 29:7-11 ) and will run from sundown on the 25th through sundown on the 26th. We will, as has become our custom, break the fast together as a congregational family on the evening of the 26th for those that would like to attend. .  . . . more info later . . .

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.
14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.  1 Thess 4:13-18

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.  1 Cor. 15:51-52

Isaiah 57:14 – 58:14
Matthew 24:25 – 35

That’s ‘One Way’ to look at it . . .

‘Worry is like a rocking chair . . . it gives you something to do, but doesn’t get you anywhere . . .’

Phil 4:6-8  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything – by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving – let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus ( Messiah Yeshua )
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.

I saw this today as I was leafing through a book  . . . don’t remember the name of the book ( sorry ) but this caught my eye . . . and my heart . . .

“The sign of a true Dad . . . there are now pictures & crayon-scribbled notes in his wallet where the money used to be . . .”

Does Abba have any notes from you in His wallet . . .?

Believe it or not . . . He says what He says . . .

There is a youtube video and transcript that is spreading like wildfire dealing with the ‘truth’ concerning homosexuality and the teachings of the Bible on the matter.

I have read the transcript and I must say it is intriguing and engaging, and for those that might not be well grounded in the Word, it will be either confusing or misleading.

IF  you didn’t know any better, you would believe the young man’s conclusion that the Bible does NOT teach against homosexuality. The problem is, he is mistaken.

One of the sad aspects of this whole story is this young man spent ( wasted ) two years of his life trying to justify through human logic what the Scriptures teach plainly and succinctly to be unjustifiable and a sin . . . perhaps no more or less than any other ‘sin’, but yet, still ‘sin’.

His misuse and misapplication of Scripture causes the foundational support of his premise to be flawed and thereby his premise to be incorrect. He employs what I call a ‘buffet approach’ to the Word . . . taking helpings of those things that he ‘likes’ and leaving behind those things that doesn’t appeal to the ‘taste buds’ . . . you can do that with broccoli and asparagus, but NOT with the Scriptures.

I find it sadly curious that this young man was attending a United Methodist college. I do not know for sure what ‘church’ allowed him to put forth his treatise, but if I understand Scripture correctly, the pastor of that congregation will have the ‘blood of the people’ on his head.  Pray for him and for this young man.  So why did I mention the Methodist college ?

You know, the Bible warns against taking a stance against Israel. Our Father God  stated that HE would bless those who bless Israel and that HE would bring a curse ( arar – to curse ) on those that curse         ( qalal – to slight, esteem lightly or treat with contempt ) the nation of Israel.

Below are archived articles and statements from the United Methodist Church hierarchy dating back to 2000 concerning the nation of Israel.

1.) Resolution 6074, “United Nations Resolutions on the Israel-Palestine Conflict.”,  was adopted by General Conference ( the UMC denomination’s highest policy-making body )  in 2000, then revised and readopted in 2008. It states, “The United Methodist Church calls upon Israel, the Palestinian National Authority, and all States to abide by and uphold U.N. resolutions, International Court of Justice rulings, and international law as the basis for just and lasting peace in Palestine/Israel.”

. . . the position of the ( UMC ) church is “clear:”

The denomination affirms the will of the international community, expressed through U.N. Security Council resolutions, the Fourth Geneva Convention and other international law instruments, in condemning the Israeli military occupation of Palestinian territory. The denomination opposes continued Israeli settlement building on occupied Palestinian territory. The church stands with the Palestinian Christian community, and supports Palestinian efforts towards economic and political self-determination.

2.) Rev. Sprecher, who led the social action agency petition at the 2004 UMC General Conference, recommended divestment from Caterpillar Inc. and charged that the company “profited from illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian land and contributes to the occupation by supplying the Israel Defense Forces with heavy equipment.”   Bloom’s article further cites Rev. Sprecher’s reminder of the Resolution 312 that the UMC passed in 2004 “opposing Israeli settlements in Palestinian land.”

3.) The UMC’s General Board on Global Mission Women produced a Mission Study for 2007-2008, endorsed by the national ( UMC ) church, which refers to Israel’s creation as “original sin,” and likens the birth of Israel to the Holocaust and Israeli practices to those of the Nazis.

And now the UMC is struggling ( whether they know it or not ) with homosexuality both in the pews and in the pulpit . . . gee, I wonder if there is a connection between standing against Israel and believing that which is false  . . . for he who touches Israel touches the apple of God’s eye . . . and HE will cause you great distress because of ‘sticking you finger in HIS eye’  . . . Zech 2:8

Of course, that’s if you actually believe what the Word says . . . do you ?

SUKKOT – THE SEASON OF OUR JOY

SUKKOT – The Feast of Tabernacles – is quickly approaching and it’s time to start getting ready. The dates are monday evening October 1 through tuesday evening October 9. Tentative plans are that we will gather once again at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Harrodsburg, KY.  We will announce planning sessions to facilitate a good smooth time together.

You know, the Feast of Tabernacles is the first holiday that we will celebrate together in the Kingdom after the return of Messiah ( Zech 14 ) , and yet, most us have had little to no teaching and training for this the culmination and pinnacle of the pattern of the Gospel.  This will be the 10th year of Sukkot for Rhonda and I and our family and we seem to look foward to it more and more each year. Yes, sometimes it has been difficult and cold and wet and rainy . . . and cold and wet and rainy . . . ( yes, I know I repeated myself – ’cause it was cold and wet and rainy more than once )  . . . but when we get to the end of the week, we don’t want to leave . . . the time will come when we won’t have to . . . Praise the Lord . . . but until then may we be diligent to show our love for Abba in the ways He has asked ( 1 John 5:2 ) because of what He has done for us.

Sorry we haven’t posted in a while . . . we will strive to stay more in touch . . .

Blessings to you and yours  . . . especially as the ‘day’ approaches . . .

B’shem Yeshua – J & R

Sign, sign, everywhere a sign . . . but what do they mean ?

There is so much going on in the news both stateside and abroad it boggles the mind. The president of the US signs an executive order forbidding the enforcement of the constitution and the laws currently on the books concerning illegal entry onto our country . . . the operative word being ‘illegal’ . . . Doesn’t contravening the constitution constitute an unconstitutional act ?  jus’ askin’ . . .

And then we have the Muslim Brotherhood ‘winning’ the election in Egypt, which works out really well for them since they already control the nation’s parliament. It’s difficult NOT to see some similarity between the current events in Egypt and the prophecy voiced in Isaiah 19 . . .The chief muslim cleric in Egypt made the statement that the ‘capitol of Egypt will no longer be Cairo, but Jerusalem . . . must of just been a gaffe . . . maybe he’s been hanging around with Joe Biden and has his geography mixed up, that’s all . . .

China, Russia, Iran and Syria have decided to hold  ‘military war games’ in Syria . . . as if there’s not enough going in Syria without more visitors in town with guns . . .

And the number ’40’ seems to be popping up everywhere you look.  Mubarak just happened to be in power for about 40 years . . . Qaddafi reigned for about 40 years . . . Al Asada’s father’s military take-over of the Syrian government was about 40 years ago . . . Greece came out of military rule into it’s current ‘free society’ about 40 years ago . . .  what a list of coincidences . . .

What ever your thoughts concerning end-times, it would probably be a really good idea to have all your ‘charts’ in pencil and have a really big eraser on hand . . . Things will turn out EXACTLY the way the Father has decided, but not necessarily the way we have ‘figured it out’ . . .And whatever you need to do to prepare for things that are coming, you need to be doing it . . . And once we have done all to stand, then ‘STAND’ and see the Salvation of the LORD . . .  Blessings –

SIGNS AND SOUNDS OF THE TIMES . . .

This that is below, was a post on Steve Quayle’s website. The ‘sounding of the trumpet’ spoken of in the article bore witness in my spirit. Over the past few weeks I have been hearing and sensing, in the spirit, a sound like a horn being blown. It is not a constant blowing but happens off and on. On one particular Fri. while I was in the kitchen cooking I kept hearing the sound and thought it was the tornado siren going off at 12 noon but it was well past noon. I went to the door to see if a storm front had moved in but it was blue skies and found out it was not the tornado siren. I also sensed in the spirit a trumpet being blown in the days before the Lehman Bros., Bear Stearns collapse. I shared with our group that we met with at the time about hearing the trumpet (not knowing at the time what why it was being sounded ). I am wondering how many people are hearing these kinds of sounds and are dismissing them thinking they are hearing something else…..Personally, at this time, I have not received revelation on what these horns I am hearing are about. I just hear them. Two other things I received form the Lord recently was on April 20th I heard “the scroll is unrolling”.  And for several days the first week of May I repeatedly kept hearing “change, change, change”……. BLESSINGS – Rhonda

Email From Listener-“Intercessor And Husband Hear The Trumpet Judgements Sounding”

June 16, 2012

Steve ~ I and my husband had a supernatural ‘wake up call’ on June 13, 2012 about mid morning, Mountain Time. We were both wide awake and I’d gone to get my computer to see if anything aligned with what I’d spent the previous three hours in prayer about. I was quite unsettled – something most believers I know are also experiencing around the world at this time,…so I’d asked the Lord if He would show me anything I may have missed in prayer and intercession and if He was not only judging the USA but the entire world for the sin, decadence and absolute perversity that has taken place on even deeper levels than most people could comprehend unless it was shown them by divine revelation.

I had just sat back down and my husband had gone into another room for a minute when ‘suddenly’ I heard (and felt) this trumpet blast from the heavens, as if it had swallowed us up in its powerful wake! My husband walked back into the room and even as I propped myself totally upright and was asking him if he had just heard what I had! He asked me if I meant the very loud trumpet blast and no sooner had he finished his sentence, the trumpet sounded again a second time! This was unlike anything either of us had ever heard before. It was startling and at the same time wondrous because I knew this sound could not have come from anything of this earth, but from God alone. We have a small dog and the moment the first trumpet sound arose, she sat up and perfectly still staring out the big window in the room! Normally, when the pine trees and wind are blowing she would have barked – not this time! I’ve heard the many tapes of unusual noises from around the world, especially in the last year or so that have been put on various sites, including Stephen Quayle’s website. None of them sounded or felt the way these two trumpets sounding did – not even close.

We live in such a quiet, rural area that when a vehicle comes up one of the narrow dirt roads into the woods one is able to hear it from a mile away or more. It is absolutely silent except for the occasional chattering of the squirrels or the sound of a bird chirping. This was so loud and so clear and with my emotions and mind in a going at fever pitch, all I could think of was the sound that the trumpets had made. It was as if the sound penetrated everything in and around us for miles. It permeated the very air in the house and the sense that the Lord was behind this caused me to tremble in reverent awe. I realized at once that the Lord was answering my questions to him just prior to this happening in the natural. The sky became very dark, almost as it is at dusk just before the sun sets. The blue sky and sun disappeared nearly immediately after the sounds had stopped, and the very dark clouds which had come in from seemingly nowhere, erupted with ferocious thunder, lightning and heavy sheets of rain and winds that looked as if the tall pines around the property would bend and break under the strength of them all.

I KNEW then that the Lord had answered my numerous questions and that this was supernatural by anyone’s standards. I continued to ask my husband if he’d heard the distinctive sound twice and as loudly and clearly as I had. He kept saying “yes, I heard them and they didn’t sound as if they were about to play music”. It was then that the thoughts began to run swiftly through my mind about the trumpets spoken of in Revelation in regard to the Lord’s judgements upon the earth! What we had just heard was a type of ‘Declaration’ from the Lord of Hosts! I sent off a quick email to a handful of godly, seasoned people I knew letting them know what had just taken place at our house in the back woods of Montana. My mind was racing as I thought of how the Lord looks to and fro across the earth for those with ears to hear and eyes to behold what He is both doing and saying to those who will listen – and go before Him to seek His face on behalf of His people. I did wonder ‘why’ I’d been blessed with this experience, but I also have a deep, unwavering love for true believers/disciples of Jesus, and seek Him continually on behalf of each of them. The Lord desires that we all seek Him intimately and He honors those who do by revealing more of Himself to them.

Upon reflection and after the electrifying experience of the morning, I knew that the Lord was indeed speaking about His coming judgements. I stayed up until early in the AM last night and continued to inquire of Him – what will happen to our family members and friends who are not saved or have fallen away from Him and what more can we do if the times of judgement are already upon us, as I personally believe they are and have been. Then I received an email very early this morning alerting me to the Euro having collapsed (unofficially) and I knew that the Lord had given us a heads up – and that hearing these heavenly trumpets sound had indeed been the Lord speaking from heaven to warn His remnant believers that His judgements have begun in earnest throughout the whole earth, and that He was warning His people to draw close to Him, that they might be covered by His unfathomable mercy and grace, having prepared our hearts before Him for such a time as this.

A dear friend (bless you Jenni) looked up the Seven Seals in Rev. 6:1 today and sent this to me – here is what she found: John, the Apostle was summoned to hear these Declarations by the two of four living creatures who beckoned him to, “Come!” – The First Seal opened by the Lamb was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. When the Lamb opened the Second Seal, then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

These scriptures are from the NIV, however, I would suggest to anyone who would like more clarity on the whole account of the Seven Seals to read them in the KJV of the Bible in their entirety, beginning with the entire account of Revelation 5:1-14 and through the next and 6th Chapter of Revelation as well. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders surround the Lamb (Jesus) Who was slain, and found worthy to open the Seals is a mysterious and wonderful read! “The Spirit and the bride say, Come!”And let him who hears say, Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” Rev. 22:17 – “To all who belong to the Lamb, the Spirit of the Lord says, “Come”!” – “He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”  – “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” – “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.” Rev. 20-21

Blessings and Peace to all those who call upon the Name of our Lord Jesus in Truth~
