Sukkot – begins the evening of Monday Sept 20th.
Among other activities during the week, we will have –
A ‘Barter-training session’. Bring an item valued at $5-10 that you think would be of that value in a ‘Barter economy’ situation.
– a ‘silent auction’ that will begin after Shabbat on Tuesday and will conclude on Thursday evening.
– a painting class. Bring an inexpensive artist’s brush SET and something to paint on – a board is ideal
but you can even bring a rock.
– a knitting class. Bring one ball of Red Heart yarn ‘Super Saver’ collection. One set of knitting needles- size 5.5mm or
size 9 US. You will be making an adult hat. A printed pattern will be provided.
– Rhonda presenting sessions on food preservation (particularly canning of meat) and sprouting.
– a class on Tzi-tziot (gediliim – tassels) tying and Scriptural explanation for the wearing.
– Lazer Tag for the young folks and the ‘young at heart’ folks.
And timely discussions concerning current events and their prophetic implications . . .
– just to mention a few of the things going on during Sukkot.
A schedule of events and daily activities will be available upon arrival.
