Birth Pangs and Current Events

For those that have experienced ‘birth pangs’, ( sorry guys, but that leaves us out smile emoticon ) you understand as the ‘pregnancy’ progresses and after the ‘water breaks’ the contractions begin . . . at first they are, uhmm, uncomfortable. Would that be somewhat accurate, ladies ? But then, these contractions,or birth pangs if you will, begin to increase in both frequency and intensity, until the much-anticipated ‘birthing’ takes place. We know that between each ‘contraction’ or birth pain, there is a lull, and then the next round of pains begins, more intense than the previous one with a shorter ‘lull’ in between. There comes a point when the ‘birth pangs’ become ‘scream-causing PAINS’ coming so close together the ‘lulls’ in between some almost nonexistent. That is what we are seeing, both on the global scene as well as the national stage and that is what is to come. But what is being birthed ? The Kingdom. And when did these ‘birth pangs’ begin ? Roughly two thousand years ago with the advent of Messiah Yeshua. We are now at the point in this ‘pregnancy’ that the ‘birth pangs’ are coming closer and closer together with greater intensity and shorter lulls in between. In addition, there is ‘national judgement’ ( in addition to ‘end time’ calamity) on governments and hierarchies, simply because of their stance against our Father, His Ways, His Word, His KIngdom and His Land. “And all this is the beginning of the birth pangs . . .and this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to all the world as a witness to the nations, and then the end will come . . .” ” “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people . . .” Remember that scene we attempted to describe concerning the physical birth ? Most folks, knowing a birth is imminent, prepare for the event in all the ways they can, understanding that final birth pang can come at any ( and most times the most inopportune) moment and seemingly without waring; and yet has been coming for a really long time. ‘For God is not slack, as men count slackness . . . What He has said, He will do . . . and He does not delay . . . He is on His time table, not ours.’

    Jerry and Rhonda,

Blessings to you in the name of Yahshua HaMashyiach!

I am writing in regards to the date and day that Elul 29 falls on, in each of the Shemmitah Years. Specifically the last four 7 year periods, from 1994-2015, and how that pattern might “possibly” determine, at least in part, the outcome of 2015!

1994- Sept 5 (Elul 29) which falls on a Monday
2001- Sept 17 (Elul 29) which falls on a Monday
2008- Sept 29 (Elul 29) which falls on a Monday
2015- Sept 13 (Elul 29) which falls on a Sunday

We know that the month of Elul is a time of repentance, in preparation of the High Holy days in Tisheri, with Rosh Hashana being Yom HaDin (Day of Judgement), looking forward to Yom Kippur Day of Atonement).

On the dates above we see the first three falling on a Monday, with business being conducted and the financial markets open and doing business on Elul 29, the day of release, during the month of repentance, looking forward to Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur.

On the last date we find Elul 29 falling on a Sunday, with financial markets in the US closed, bringing the first day of financial business to Monday, Tisheri 1, Rosh Hashana (Yom HaDin-Day of Judgement).

Could 2001 and 2008 have been warnings, with major damage to the US economy, all the while looking forward to the third economic declination in 2015, which could be climactic, falling on the Day of Judgement (Yom HaDin)? The wording describing Elul is a time of preparation for the days of judgement in Tisheri. The wording of Tisheri is of being judged, with still time to repent. But with this, we are speaking more of personal redemption and not national redemption, with even the first 10 days of Tisheri being a time of repentance looking forward to Yom Kippur. But on a national level, given the two previous warnings, does Tisheri 1-2, Yom HaDin (Day of Judgement), possibly seal our fate, once and for all, as a nation, given our grievous sin and rebellion, understanding that the concept of coincidence is not valid in Yah’s Sovereignty?

    1) The shedding of innocent blood (abortion)
    2) Homosexuality (the legalization of same sex marriage)
    3) The cursing of Israel (which has been in overdrive for at least six years)

Not setting dates in all of this! Just taking what is happening in real time and how the timing of it all parallels scripture.

    Just wondering….

    Shalom
