    Hello.

I have listened to your last two podcasts on Hebrew Nations Online earnestly. I’ve listened to the last of those two three times in the last 24 hours. It makes complete sense, but not the first time round. 🙂

Is there an easier way to find the article that you referenced in the one of these podcasts without scrolling month to month through your wordpress archives?

Also, I see that your last podcast is available on your wordpress blog. Is there another way than scrolling through archives to find earlier podcasts there?

Also, I am curious. Do “members” of the Hebrew Nation celebrate Christmas as a celebration of Christ’s earthly birth or since this holiday is a religious institution/secular product, do you not?

    Thank you.

    God’s Blessing

    Beth

Beth – thank you for our comments. First, we can send you the link to the complete article on The Woman at the Well. Also, we post our podcasts on our Youtube channel ‘TheProdigal101’ and navigation there is a little easier, and, hopefully, both of the last two broadcasts/podcasts will be posted on the Youtube channel and our blog by the end of the weekend.
You asked about the members of the ‘Hebrew Nation’. We know there are many that do not observe Christmas, and their reasons vary. We cannot speak for all of them, but for Rhonda and I (and some folks we know personally) the reasons are fairly simple.
God tells us ‘not to learn the ways of the nations’ or ‘imitate their practices’. (Deut 18:2, Jer 10:2). We know and understand virtually all the traditions, customs and trappings that surround modern christmas celebration were born out of non-biblical religious customs and cultures. Twice in Deut 12 God tells us we are not to come to Him or behave in the manner of the nations. The Apostolic Writings (NT 1 Cor 11:23-26) tell us ‘we are to acknowledge or remember His death until He returns, but absolutely no mandate or suggestion that we should celebrate His birth. We find it interesting that Scripture tells us the month, day and hour of His death, but not His birth.
Our Heavenly Father has His set Holidays that He has appointed for His people, and for centuries, Believers in Messiah kept His ways, but sadly, His ways were set aside for the traditions of man. And personally speaking, we are convinced Yeshua/Jesus would be have been born on one of those Holidays appointed by our Father.
So, after understanding the facts, and receiving necessary prompting from the Holy Spirit, we made the transition. Understanding the reason was fairly simple. Actually MAKING the transition was not. But we knew it was the right and obedient thing to do. We hope this helps a little and do not hesitate to reach out if we can be of any more assistance. Now here’s that link. Shabbat Shalom https://prodigalministries.wordpress.com/2014/07/31/the-woman-at-the-well-2/

Also – if you take a look at the passages in Leviticus 23, it will give you an overview of the feasts of The Lord as He laid out. These are part of those ‘good works that were laid down from beforehand that we would walk in them’ that Paul references in Ephesians 2. Shalom
