As the people of God, we not only need to be in prayer concerning the current situation in the Texas/Louisiana area, but also this next hurricane – Irma – that is brewing out in the Atlantic.
Computer weather models show differing possibilities as to the ultimate path and severity of this storm .
Some of the models show the storm ultimately turning east without making landfall on the east coast of the US.
Some models show Irma possibly coming ashore on the coast of Florida or Georgia or the Carolinas, or farther north depending on the speed and severity of the storm.
Interestingly, some models show the storm possibly making landfall in the New York / New Jersey area on or around September 11th. Did you know there was a category 1 hurricane off the coast of New York when the 9/11 attacks took place? And there is another storm on the heels of Irma . . . just something to ponder and take to prayer. Shalom
